Things to Carry in Your Purse in the Summer
I’ve been known to carry a huge purse most of the time, but I just need to bring so much stuff with me. Depending on where I’m headed, I often have my Tablet and Planner with me as I run from my kids’ activities. Packing your purse for the summer? Beyond the usual stuff (wallet, keys, phone), here are some things to carry in your purse this summer.
I started carrying children’s Benadryl rapid melt tabs. Since then, I’ve used the Benadryl multiple times – for my kids and even me. It’s a good thing to have on hand.
If you’ve followed this blog before, you know what I have a bit of a pen “problem”. You’ll always need a pen on hand.
With kids headed in multiple directions all summer long, I need to bring my planner along with me. Whether you use a paper planner, or one on your smartphone, be sure to bring yours.
My Abs seems to trip a lot in the summer, skinning those exposed knees. I always try to put a few bandages in my bag for those occasions.
Tissues and Wipes
Try to carry tissues and/or wipes in your bag, even if you don’t have a baby. Wipes are great for sticky ice cream hands, and tissues can be used for a variety of purposes.
Use a nail file to clean up ragged nails, rather than chewing them.
My kids and I are always getting chapped lips, and lip balm is great to have with you. I usually buy lip balm with SPF, to prevent sunburn.
Get a travel-sized tub of sunscreen, and carry it along with you. That way, if you end up spending more time outside than you expect, you can keep your skin protected.
I’m usually out of the house for most of the day in the summer, so I always carry a backup charger or two with me to charge on the go.
